We are pleased to share a new publication in the MDPI journal, carried out within the framework of the European project Eurostars/ECO-DWOR.

This work has been possible thanks to the joint effort of all the members of the consortium (Color Center, Inotex, Tekniker and the Polymers and Biopolymers department of the UPC) and represents our small contribution in terms of sustainable chemistry.

At Color Center we are committed to research on sustainability, we invest considerable resources in this goal and we are proud to present the following article published in the Progress in Organic Coatings magazine where we expose some of our developments in the field of fluorine-free DWOR finishes.

This advanced research work has been developed within the framework of the EUROSTARS program and in collaboration with Tekniker and the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya.

In Color Center we have compensated our direct CO2 emissions for the 2018 fiscal year through the carbon credits offered in the Carbon Offset Platform of the United Nations, with the aim of helping to combat climate change.

These credits belong to a project for the construction / maintenance of a wind farm in India. In addition to producing green energy, this project contributes to improving the living conditions of the inhabitants of the villages near the wind farms, helping to improve the living conditions of the local communities. The project creates additional employment, business and income opportunities for residents of the area.

This measure is another step in Color Center’s commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
